Planning Consent to Extend Recycling Facility and Install New Processing Equipment

We are pleased to announce that we have secured planning consent for Williams a Williams Cyf to extend their recycling facility at Y Ffôr on the LlÅ·n Peninsula in Gwynedd, North Wales. The consent allows the company to increase the area used for the processing and storage of recyclable materials, and includes the installation of new sorting equipment to enable the company to further increase its already exemplary recycling rates.

Planning Consent for IED Chapter IV (WID) Compliant Renewable Energy Facility

We are pleased to announce that we have secured planning consent for Merthyr Biomass Ltd for a renewable energy facility fuelled by waste wood at their site near Merthyr Tydfil. The facility will be fully-compliant with Chapter IV of the Industrial Emissions Directive (formerly covered by the Waste Incineration Directive (WID)) and will produce renewable heat energy from Grade C waste wood received from companies operating in the local area.

Planning Consent for 24hr Operation

We are pleased to announce that we have secured planning consent for Derwen Recycling Ltd for 24 hour operation of their Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) at Neath Abbey Wharf, Neath. Following a BS4142:2014 noise assessment, the preparation of a noise management plan and an operational noise assessment, Neath Port Talbot CBC were satisfied that the development would not result in any unacceptable impacts on the amenity of nearby residents or the local environment.
