Planning Consent To Extend Recycling Facility, Construct A New Yard And Extensions To An Existing Recycling Building
We are pleased to announce that we have secured planning consent for Greenacres Skip Hire to extend their recycling facility near Fishguard, Pembrokeshire. The consent includes the construction of a yard to the west of the existing facility and extensions to the existing recycling building to provide additional space for recycling and storage, and for a workshop.
As a Major development we undertook a formal Pre-Application Consultation process in accordance with the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Wales) Order 2012 whereby we engaged extensively with neighbours, local representatives and technical consultees to develop the proposal prior to its submission to Pembrokeshire County Council (PCC).
The application was brought before PCC's Planning Committee, who, after due consideration of the planning and technical information, were satisfied that the development would not result in any unacceptable impacts on the amenity of nearby residents or on the local environment. The Planning Committee voted unanimously to approve the application.
We would like to thank all of the Officers and Committee members involved in reaching this decision.
