Planning Consent for Sporting Goods Shop

We are pleased to announce that planning approval has been granted for the change of use to a retail unit for sports shooting goods at Bedwas Industrial Estate, Caerphilly.  The development marks a significant milestone for Pro Shoot Firearms and Shooting Club as it continues to grow and serve its customers, with an enhanced retail space.

Detailed information provided addressed a potentially contentious application and media interest.  The preparation of supporting information documents, including existing and proposed internal layout plans was undertaken with careful consideration of the unique operational requirements set out in relevant legislation, licensing regulations and national and local planning policy.

After due consideration of the planning and technical information, the Local Authority was satisfied that the development would not result in any unacceptable impacts on the amenity of nearby businesses, residents or the local environment.  Planning consent was granted under delegated powers.
